CHILI

2 servings or 7 oz. 97% lean ground beef
6 oz chopped onion
1 small bit of hot pepper
1 can organic chopped tomatoes
3 t. chili powder
1 pinch dried cilantro
2 cloves garlic
salt to taste

Brown ground beef and saute onion, pepper, garlic all together in some of the juice of the canned tomatoes. Add tomatoes. Add spices. Simmer for thirty minutes.

I went to the wall and saw a testimony from Linda as to how much weight she lost. I knew that this was huge for her because she has taken many serious actions to lose weight and never could really do it. Now she had me!

As I do with all exciting things in my life, I called Susie.

“Linda is on a special diet and has lost a pound a day!” I breathed over the phone in between sips of coffee.

“Really, what is she doing?” Susie asked. I knew Susie was like the rest of us, struggling to get that nasty fat off.

“Have you ever heard of HCG?” I asked figuring she had. Both of us were pretty aware of the names of all the hormones that were worth talking about.

“I have,” she replied. “It is present in pregnant women.”

“Well that’s what they are doing, a HCG diet,” and that was all I could really tell her at that time.

“I’ll invite you to the Facebook site that Linda invited me to and let’s try to figure what this is all about because these people are losing a pound a day!”

I had her. “Losing a pound day” sounds like magic to a seasoned dieter. I was intent to find the how people were doing this. My next thought was, if this works, I will have to tell everyone I know.
